TRACIE KAM ROMUALDO M.S.W., ADULT DAY CENTER DIRECTOR
Tracie's deep seeded affinity for the elderly has been cultivated from a young age by her family's tradition of reverence, respect and love for elders. While living in Florida for several years, Tracie volunteered at a local nursing home and also worked with indigent migrant farm workers, two experiences that helped to fuel her desire to pursue a career helping others better their lives. She received her Bachelors degree in the Humanities at the University of South Florida, and upon returning to Hawaii, enrolled in the social work graduate degree program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and received a Masters degree in social work with a concentration in gerontology in 2003.
Other experiences Tracie brings with her include working with elder fitness, social, and therapeutic programs, as well as working with veterans, and adult mental health consumers.
Tracie's intergenerational household resides in Aiea, and includes her mother, husband, two daughters, dog, and three cats.
