Ann Abeshima, Ocean Pointe Director

Ann Abeshima is new to the Seagull School team, but not to Early Childhood Education. Ann has 15 years of experience working with young children and their families. In addition to working in the classroom with children ages 0 to 5, Ann has also worked at Japanese public middle schools, schools for hospitalized children, in college classrooms, and has experience in social services. Ann has her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Child and Family Development from San Diego State University and her Master's Degree in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College.

Ann enjoys promoting creativity in every aspect of a child. Outdoor play is Ann's favorite time of the day. Ann also hopes to serve as a resource to families. When not at work, Ann spends time with a canoe club and enjoys world travel.
